A 9-year-old child travelling on a bike had his throat slit by a Chinese manjha (thread), he had to get 22 stitches

On Sunday, a nine-year-old innocent child got caught in the Chinese Manjha in Jodhpur. Due to this, his throat was cut and he was badly injured. He had to get about twenty stitches. Apart from the throat, he had several cuts on his hand. On Monday, his father also reported the matter to the police.

Mohit Solanki, a resident of Makrana Mohalla, was going for a bike ride with his son Kunj and nephew on Kila Road on Sunday. During this, near Rao Jodha Park, the thread of the manjha suddenly got stuck in Kunj’s neck. After this, he immediately stopped the bike. By then, blood started flowing from the child’s neck.Not only this, Kunj got cuts on his hands. Mohit Solanki told that he pulled the string to save the children and during this he also got cuts on his hands. Many people were flying kites there. Still no one came to help. With the help of a passerby, he immediately took his son to Pawta Hospital. The doctor there was unable to treat him. From there he was referred to Mathuradas Mathur Hospital. Where 20 to 22 stitches were put on his neck.

The child is not able to speak properly due to his throat being slit. Mohit Solanki said that he has also lodged a report of this incident in Sursagar police station. Kite flying takes place in Jodhpur on the occasion of Rakshabandhan. In such a situation, the Police Commissioner had issued an order on August 17 itself and banned the use of Chinese Manjha.

Apart from this, the Commissioner had banned kite flying for 2 hours in the morning and evening in his order. So that the birds are not harmed. The Police Commissioner has imposed this ban from 18 August to 1 September, but this accident happened the very next day of this order.
