A 23-year-old girl was gang-raped in Hathras… An acquaintance called her to meet him, then committed the crime with his friends

A sensational case has come to light in Hathras, Uttar Pradesh. A 23-year-old girl was gang-raped in the Hathras Junction Police Station area. When this case came to light, there was a stir. After the information, the police reached the spot and took stock. The police have registered a case and started searching for the accused.

Giving information about the incident, Circle Officer Shyamveer Singh said that a complaint was received on Wednesday that a 23-year-old woman was gang-raped by five people on August 2. It is said in the complaint that the victim girl had come to meet an acquaintance named Deepak in Hathras Junction Police Station area.

When the girl reached Hathras Junction area, a young man named Rishi was also present with Deepak. Deepak took the girl to a deserted place, where young men named Akash, Mahendra and Hariom also came. It has been said in the complaint that all five raped the girl and fled from the spot.

After the incident, the victim reached her home and informed her family about the incident. After this, a complaint was lodged with the police. The police have registered a case on the basis of the victim’s statement and have started searching for the accused. Police officials say that efforts are being made to arrest the gangrape accused. The accused are absconding since Wednesday.

What did the victim’s father say in the complaint?

In the report filed by the girl’s father, it is said that on August 2, he had gone to Hathras city, when at 4:30 in the morning, the daughter went to Hathras Junction for a walk, from where a young man known to her took her to the fields. Four other of his companions came there. All of them raped the daughter. They forcibly put something on her head. The daughter somehow reached the neighboring village, where someone informed the police. The police brought her to her home ashram.

His daughter could not tell her address due to fear. On August 3, when he got the information, he brought his daughter home from his ashram, but due to social shame, he kept quiet. Now the daughter told the whole incident to me and the family members. Then a report was filed. The police have registered a case and got the girl medically examined.
