A painful incident has come to light in Bareilly, Uttar Pradesh. Here in a village in Bhojipura area, a class 9 student sprinkled oil on herself and set herself on fire. She died during treatment in the hospital. The victim’s father said that a day before, two boys studying with the student had raped her. Her elder sister had seen this incident. Fearing defamation, the daughter set herself on fire. On receiving information about this incident, SP Rural Mukesh Chandra Mishra and other officials reached the spot and took stock of the situation. The police have taken the body into custody and sent it for post-mortem.
A 15-year-old girl from a village in Bhojipura area was raped by two students of her school. On August 26, the girl had gone to the neighborhood, when the two accused took her to the field, where they committed the crime. Meanwhile, the girl’s elder sister also reached there and saw the incident.
The victim’s father says that the daughter had informed about the entire incident at home. After this, when the family members reached the accused’s house, both the students threatened them. After this, the girl’s father went to the farm. Meanwhile, the victim poured diesel on herself and set herself on fire. When the family members saw this, they somehow extinguished the fire and immediately took her to the hospital, where she died during treatment.

Both the accused of rape are said to be minors. Police say that the family members also tried to destroy the evidence. It is being investigated whether the victim set herself on fire or the accused party is behind it. Police was informed about the incident late on Tuesday night, after which police reached the spot and took the body in their custody and sent it for post-mortem.
The victim’s father said that we were not at home. On 26 August, on Raksha Bandhan, three daughters were at home. When we returned home, the eldest daughter informed us about the rape incident. She was terrified that the boys did this. We did not complain to the police at that time. We sent a complaint to the family.
SP Rural Mukesh Chandra Mishra said that in Bhojipura police station, on August 26, at around 12 noon, a minor boy along with his friend raped his daughter in a field. Upset by this incident, the victim set herself on fire. After this, she died at 5:30 pm. In this incident, the officials immediately inspected the incident. Panchayat Nama action has been taken by taking the body in possession. A case has been registered on the basis of the complaint. One accused has been taken into custody, he is being questioned.
