In both these states, after completing four years of service as Agniveers, reservation will be given in police recruitment and other departments. Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Vishnu Dev Sai said on Friday that he is very happy to inform that now all the Agniveers of Chhattisgarh will be provided the facility of inclusion on priority basis by the Chhattisgarh government on the posts of police constable, forest guard, jail guard etc. after their service. He said that detailed guidelines for this will be issued soon.
Along with this, Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Mohan Yadav has also made a big announcement for former Agniveers. CM Mohan Yadav said that today on the occasion of Kargil Day, our government has decided that former Agniveer jawans will be given reservation in the recruitment of police and armed forces.
