‘The discussion about changing the CM is wrong…’, UP BJP chief Bhupendra Chaudhary cleared the picture amid the tussle in BJP

For the last several days, the UP unit of BJP is being discussed across the country. In such a situation, amidst the turmoil over the internal politics of the party, a statement has come from UP BJP Chief Bhupendra Chaudhary. He said that the Bharatiya Janata Party is a democratic party, everyone has the right to express their views in a democratic way. We are moving forward with discipline. The results did not come as per our expectations. We are working on the flaws. Along with this, Bhupendra Chaudhary, while talking about the post of Chief Minister, said, “The discussion of changing the CM is wrong”

What is going on in the politics of Uttar Pradesh? For the past few days, only one question has been floating in the political corridors. Statements, meetings and reports of behind-the-scenes meetings have heated up the atmosphere of UP.

Both deputy CMs stayed away from review meetings

After the Lok Sabha election results, the CM is continuously holding review meetings. All the MLAs, MPs and ministers of the division are being called. Meetings of all the divisions have been held except Varanasi. A meeting of Lucknow division has been scheduled at 11:30 am today. Every meeting is followed by lunch or dinner. UP Deputy CM Keshav Prasad Maurya did not attend the review meeting in Prayagraj. BJP state president Bhupendra Chaudhary stayed away from the Moradabad division meeting. Now Deputy CM Brijesh Pathak is also not attending the review meeting of Lucknow division. Both the Deputy CMs have not attended any review meeting yet. In these review meetings, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath probed the minds of all the MLAs, ministers, MLCs and other public representatives.

Some maintained silence, some targeted officers

The public representatives who could not attend the review meeting with the Chief Minister, met the Chief Minister separately. In the review meetings, some MLAs complained about the work of the officers and officials, but most of the people kept quiet. Most of the MLAs complained about the officials in one-to-one meetings with the Chief Minister.

It is believed that by-elections are going to be held on 10 assembly seats. In such a situation, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath himself has taken charge. He is not only taking information about the preparations, but can also discuss the sentiments and proposals of the MLAs with the top leadership in the review meeting.

There are allegations of bureaucracy dominating in UP

In fact, NDA has suffered a major setback in the general election results in UP. Public representatives including BJP leaders say that bureaucracy is dominant in the state. Workers are not being heard at the lower level. There is resentment and disappointment among workers from booth to district organization. This is the reason why Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath called a meeting with the public representatives of each division and discussed development with them. Senior leaders of allied parties are also complaining about bureaucracy. There is resentment among leaders and MLAs regarding officers and they are also expressing this resentment through letters and media. However, in the review meetings of most divisions, more emphasis has been given on the future roadmap. In the division review meeting of Azamgarh, an MLA had complained to the Chief Minister about an officer, but in the meeting of Moradabad division, there was no talk about the officer.

Is this a show of strength or an attempt to reduce resentment?

By meeting MLAs, ministers and public representatives, the Chief Minister is constantly trying to give the message that if there is any resentment against the unbridled bureaucracy, then he is ready to take steps to remove it. BJP MLAs in Uttar Pradesh have now started speaking openly. Most OBC MLAs are smiling these days. Because they feel that now many camps have been formed in the BJP for listening. Some people are meeting Keshav Maurya and telling their pain and suffering, while some are directly meeting Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath and telling their views.

In recent times, MLA Sushil Singh from Syed Raja, Pradeep Chaudhary from Bulandshahr and Nandkishore Gurjar have openly spoken against bureaucracy. Nandkishore Gurjar, who came to attend the Moradabad division meeting, targeted the unbridled bureaucracy and also said in gestures that if the Chief Minister asks for proof of this, then where should the proof be brought from… our words themselves are the proof.
