Bollywood actor Emraan Hashmi was once tagged as a ‘serial kisser’. But in many of his previous films, he has done a lot to get rid of this tag.
In an old interview, Imran had told that his wife Parveen Shahani understands that kissing onscreen is a part of his job. But every time he kisses onscreen, he makes his wife do shopping, which costs him a lot. Now Imran has told whether his agreement with his wife regarding kissing onscreen is still intact or not.
Imran made a deal with his wife regarding onscreen kiss
Imran talked about his onscreen kisses in an interview with NDTV. When he was asked if he ever enjoyed an onscreen kiss, he said, “Yes, it has happened.”

Let us tell you, in an interview given in 2016, Imran had told that he gives a handbag to his wife in return for every time he kisses an actress on screen. Now when asked about this, Imran said, ‘Yes, that was a long time ago! Thankfully, there is no such rule now because my bank balance would have been exhausted. Do you know how expensive handbags have become these days?!’ Imran also said that he never felt bad about kissing onscreen because it is ‘just a job.’
Imran did not tell his wife about the scenes
In 2012, Imran had told Hindustan Times how his wife reacts to his kissing scenes. He had said, ‘I don’t tell her the scenes. I tell her about the films I am doing. She doesn’t listen to them in detail. She is a film lover and is not impressed by glamour. She has her own life. She will have problems (with kissing scenes) but she understands that it is a requirement of my work. She doesn’t interfere.’
Imran had told in ‘Koffee with Karan’ that while watching his kissing scene in ‘Murder’, his wife was digging her nails into his hand so hard that it started bleeding. ‘What have you done and you didn’t even prepare me for this and what are you doing because this is not Bollywood’ Imran had said while describing his wife’s reaction. His new web series ‘Showtime’ is streaming on Disney Plus Hotstar.
