He should give up Canadian citizenship and return to India. Chandra Arya and his supporters are working against the Khalistanis. Khalistani Sikhs living in Canada have proved their patriotism towards Canada. We are loyal to Canada.’

Chandra Arya also retaliated on Khalistani Pannu’s video. He said, ‘Khalistanis vandalized the Hindu BAPS Swaminarayan temple in Edmonton (a city in Canada) and spread hatred. I condemned their act. In response to my condemnation, Gurpatwant Singh Pannu of Sikh for Justice has released a video. Pannu is asking me and my Hindu-Canadian friends to return to India. But I want to tell him that we Hindus have come to Canada from all parts of the world. Canada is our land. We have contributed a lot to the socio-economic development of Canada. Pannu spews venom against India
Pannu is a Canadian and American citizen who serves as the head of the Khalistani organization Sikh for Justice (SFJ). Pro-Khalistan Pannu is a lawyer by profession and has been a major organizer of referendums demanding a separate Sikh country Khalistan. These referendums have been held in countries with large Indian diasporas like Canada, Britain and Australia. Pannu, who spews venom against India, had claimed some time ago, ‘India wants to kill me for running the referendum campaign. India’s international terrorism has become a direct challenge to the sovereignty of America.’
What is the history of fugitive Pannu?
Pannu originally hails from Nathu Chak village in Punjab, received his early education from Ludhiana and later settled in Khankot near Amritsar. Pannu’s father Mahinder Singh was the secretary of the Punjab Marketing Board. He is believed to have graduated from Punjab University in the 1990s. He became active in politics since his college days. After this, he went abroad. There, he worked as a cab driver for the first few years and later started practicing law. In 2007, he founded SFJ and became a staunch supporter of Khalistan. Pannu, who runs an agenda against India, gets help from Pakistani intelligence agency ISI in this work.
