Haryana government doctors on strike from today, OPD as well as emergency services will remain closed

All emergency services along with OPD closed in Haryana

haryana news, On the call of Haryana Civil Medical Services Association, emergency and OPD doctors will be on indefinite strike over pending demands. A memorandum in this regard was given by the Medical Association to all the senior officials of the Health Department. Even after giving the memorandum, there has been no hearing on their demand till now. Due to which all the doctors will be on strike from today. Four doctors including HCMS Association President Dr. Rajesh Khyali started an indefinite hunger strike in front of the office of Director General of Health Services in Panchkula.

OPD services were also closed for 2 hours on 8 July

Dr. Rajesh Khyali said that they had gone on a complete strike in December. During that time, the government had assured that all their demands are legitimate and will be implemented soon. But even today, after 7 months, their notification has not been issued. He said that OPD services were closed for 2 hours on 8 July and a notice of indefinite strike from 25 July was also given. But despite this, the government did not issue a notification, due to which the doctors are forced to go on strike.

Dr. Rajesh Khayaliya said that from tomorrow two doctors from each district will come and sit on strike at this place. He said that after the approval of the then Health Minister Anil Vij, the then Chief Minister Manohar Lal had also approved the creation of a separate cadre for specialists. A separate cadre should be created for specialist doctors. The CM had also made the announcement two years ago but it has not been implemented yet.
