The latest case is from Pathankot’s Fangtoli village, where 7 suspects reached a house and asked the woman for water to drink. After this, all of them went towards the forest. The woman first informed the villagers about this, then the police was informed about the matter. On receiving the information, the police and army personnel reached the village and after questioning the woman, conducted a search operation.
What did the suspect say to the woman
The woman told the police officials that on Tuesday night she was standing outside her house when seven suspects came to her through the jungle. They asked her for water and then started asking her what her husband does and whether she lives alone at home. The woman said that all seven had heavy bags hanging on their shoulders. The woman said that while going towards the jungle, they were looking back repeatedly. Officials say that this jungle route leads to the Jammu-Kashmir border.

Sketch of suspect released
The police and army who reached the spot have released a sketch of a suspect after questioning the woman and are questioning people. The officials have appealed that if anyone sees this suspect anywhere, then they should immediately inform about it. Police say that the search is being conducted on the basis of the information given by the woman.

A villager had told that the suspects were in army uniform and were going towards the forest. On the other hand, an encounter took place between terrorists and security forces in Lolab of Kupwara district of Jammu and Kashmir on Wednesday. In this, one terrorist was killed, while a soldier was injured. This encounter took place near the Line of Control. The army had received input that some terrorists were trying to go towards the forest. The army surrounded them and killed them.
