A case of firing has come to light in the campus of Aligarh Muslim University (AMU). According to the information, 2 employees were fired upon. After the incident, AMU security personnel have caught 2 attackers. Apart from this, both the people injured during the firing were admitted to the medical college. After the firing incident came to light, there was an atmosphere of chaos in the campus. As soon as the bullet was fired, the security personnel present nearby became alert and immediately caught the attackers. After getting information about the case, the police reached the spot and further investigation is being done.
When bullets were fired in AMU’s canteen
In September last year, a case of firing was reported in Jawaharlal Nehru (JN) Medical College of Aligarh Muslim University. According to the information, the miscreants who carried out the incident were demanding weekly payment from the canteen operator. When the canteen operator refused to pay the weekly payment, the accused opened fire there.

This incident took place outside the canteen located near the special ward of Jawaharlal Nehru Medical College. More than half a dozen firings caused chaos at the spot. A woman was injured in this incident. It was told that there have been fights and firing here earlier also over the canteen dispute.
Firing has happened in AMU before this too
The case of firing in Aligarh Muslim University (AMU) also came to light in 2018. Then there was firing in the RM Hall of the campus. Two students were injured in this incident. Both the injured students were real brothers. The police had registered a case on the complaint of the victim’s side. It was told that some domineering students were demanding extortion of three lakh rupees from other students. When they refused to pay the extortion, the domineering students attacked the students with knives and the butt of a gun. It was also alleged that the domineering students wanted to forcibly make some students sit on the ongoing dharna regarding the Jinnah issue. When they refused, they shot the victims.
