Sooraj Revanna released from prison: After getting bail from the court in a sexual abuse case JDS MLC Sooraj Revanna of K was released from jail today. Two cases of sexual abuse were registered against Sooraj Revanna, grandson of former Prime Minister HD Deve Gowda. He has got anticipatory bail in one of these cases, in another case the court granted him conditional bail on Monday. Now Revanna has been released from jail.

What did Suraj Revanna say as soon as he came out of jail?

As soon as he came out of jail on bail, Sooraj Revanna has declared himself innocent and said that he has been framed under a conspiracy, and an attempt has been made to tarnish his and his family’s image. Sooraj, grandson of former Prime Minister HD Deve Gowda, was granted bail by the court on Monday, after which he was released on Tuesday.

The court granted bail to Suraj Revanna on these conditions

  • Sooraj was also asked to furnish sureties for two persons and a personal bond of Rs 2 lakh.
  • The court said in its condition that Suraj will have to cooperate fully in the investigation.
  • The court ordered Revanna to appear whenever the investigating officer calls him.
  • Have to present your passport in the court and cannot travel out of Karnataka without written permission from the court.
  • In its order, the court has also placed a condition on Sooraj to stay away from the victims and witnesses of the case.

While granting bail to Sooraj, the court said that he will not contact the victims and witnesses in any way. Sooraj will have to appear before the investigating officer every second Sunday of the month. The court also included in its conditions that Sooraj Revanna will have to mark his presence between 9 am to 5 pm for a period of 6 months or till the charge sheet is filed (whichever is earlier). Also, he will have to avoid any other crime. Let us tell you, Sooraj’s brother and former Hassan MP Prajwal Revanna is in jail on charges of raping several women.
