Heavy rain in Uttarakhand by Meteorological Department (Uttarakhand Rain After the alert was issued, the Rudraprayag district administration has appealed to the pilgrims going to Kedarnath Dham to be extra cautious and not to travel in heavy rain. He said that due to the heavy rains in the month of Shravan, stones are falling on the pilgrimage routes at many places, in such a situation, it is not advisable to travel in view of safety. There is a possibility of stones falling at places like Chirbasa, Gaurikund and Lincholi on the Kedarnath walking route.

Apart from this, there is a possibility of stone falling near Doliya Devi temple of Fata on Rudraprayag-Gaurikund National Highway. In such a situation, he has appealed to everyone to travel with caution. Also, he has appealed to start the journey only after contacting the District Disaster Management Office.
