Jitan Ram Manjhi But Nitish Kumar, Union Minister Jitan Ram Manjhi on Saturday expressed his displeasure towards Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar. Hindustani Awam Morcha (HAM) chief Manjhi was addressing a program of his party. During this, he alleged that Nitish Kumar had pressurized him to remove him from the CM post and also mocked him for forming a new party.
“When I formed the party, Nitish Kumar mocked me. He thought I would not be able to run the organisation because I did not have financial support. Years later, it seems we are growing stronger,” said Jitan Ram Manjhi (76), MP from Gaya.
Pressure was also created to merge the party with JDU
Jitan Ram Manjhi said, Nitish Kumar had asked me to merge my party with JDU or separate. Not a single worker of our party was in favor of the merger. We decided to separate after contacting everyone. Then his son Santosh Suman resigned from the state cabinet in protest against the pressure of merger. Let us tell you, Manjhi had joined hands with Nitish Kumar for some time in 2020 and his son Santosh Suman got a ministerial post in Nitish Kumar’s cabinet. During this, Manjhi also recalled the incident that happened last year when Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar was busy uniting the anti-BJP parties. As a result of this, India Alliance was formed.
