BSF officer and jawan died, A Border Security Force (BSF) officer and a jawan died due to extreme heat while patrolling the ‘Harami Nala’ sector along the India-Pakistan international border in Gujarat, official sources said on Saturday. According to sources, the incident occurred on Friday and the assistant commandant and the head constable were reported to have suffered sunstroke and dehydration.

According to sources, both the BSF personnel were patrolling on the zero line (the place right in the middle of the border of both the countries) when they suddenly fell unconscious. Both were taken to a health center in Bhuj, but their lives could not be saved. (PTI Bhasha Input)
