Delhi government minister Atishi said on Sunday that ‘Kejriwal is suffering from severe diabetes, his sugar level has gone down dangerously and due to this his weight has also dropped considerably.’

Atishi claims that her weight has reduced by 8.5 kg

At a press conference in Delhi, Atishi said, ‘The BJP conspired to keep Kejriwal in jail in a fake case. This has posed a serious threat to his health. Kejriwal’s weight has reduced by 8.5 kg. Not only this, his sugar level has dropped below 50 five times while sleeping. This is a matter of great concern for a diabetic patient.’

AIIMS doctors are doing regular checkups

However, the claims of Atishi and Aam Aadmi Party were rejected by the Tihar Jail administration on Monday. The Tihar Jail administration said that the parameters of all the vital organs of the Delhi Chief Minister are within normal limits. Not only this, the jail administration has released a detailed update about the health of the Delhi Chief Minister, especially his weight loss of 8.5 kg. The Times of India report quoted sources as saying that Kejriwal’s weight has decreased by only two kg and AIIMS doctors are regularly checking his health.

Tihar Jail wrote a letter to Delhi Government

According to the report given by Tihar sources about Kejriwal’s health, when the Delhi Chief Minister entered the jail on April 1, he weighed 65 kg. After this, between April 8 and April 29, his weight was 66 kg. When he returned to jail on June 2 after completing his 21-day bail, his weight was 63.5 kg. Whereas on July 14, his weight was 61.5 kg. During this period, his weight has decreased by two kg. The Tihar Jail administration has written a letter to the Home Department of the Delhi Government, rejecting the allegations of the Aam Aadmi Party on Kejriwal’s health. It has been said in this letter that such ‘wrong things’ on health confuse and mislead people.
