The State Bank of India (SBI) is expected to release the SBI PO Notification 2024 in August 2024 to recruit Probationary Officers (PO) across the country.
The SBI PO 2024 recruitment will have over 2,000 vacancies, similar to the previous year. The vacancy breakup is expected to be: SC – 300, ST – 150, OBC – 540, EWS – 200, and General – 81.
To be eligible for the SBI PO 2024 recruitment, candidates must have a graduation degree in any discipline. The upper age limit is 30 years as of the cut-off date.
The SBI PO 2024 selection process will consist of three stages – Prelims, Mains, and Interview/Group Exercises. The Prelims exam is expected to be held in September-October 2024, followed by the Mains exam. Candidates who clear these stages will then undergo a Psychometric Test and Interview/Group Exercises.
The SBI PO 2024 syllabus will cover topics like Reasoning, Quantitative Aptitude, English Language, and General Awareness. Candidates are advised to solve previous year question papers to get an idea of the exam pattern and difficulty level.

The application process for SBI PO 2024 will be online. Candidates will need to upload documents like a passport-size photograph, signature, and handwritten declaration during the application process. The application fee is expected to be announced in the notification.
After the completion of all selection stages, the final result of SBI PO 2024 will be declared. Successful candidates will be provisionally allotted to SBI branches across India. The salary for SBI PO is in the range of Rs. 65,780 to Rs. 68,580 per month.
