In Ratlam, Madhya Pradesh, miscreants pelted stones on a procession carrying the idol of Lord Ganesha. Due to which angry people surrounded the police station. After which heavy security was deployed at important places in the city. According to the information, this incident took place in Mochipura area on Saturday night. It is said that when some people were carrying the idol of the Lord for installation under the 10-day Ganesh festival, stones were pelted.

After stone pelting, 500 people surrounded the police station
When the police reached the spot on information, their vehicle was damaged in stone pelting. According to Superintendent of Police Rahul Kumar Lodha, the situation is currently under control. About 500 people gheraoed the Station Road police station on Saturday night demanding action against an unknown person who threw stones at the Ganesh procession in Mochipura area.
Even after the arrival of police, the miscreants pelted stones
Police have registered a case against an unknown person on the complaint. According to the police, on the complaint, the crowd followed the police to the spot. During this, someone again threw a stone and stone pelting started, in which the glass of the police vehicle broke. After which the police had to lathi charge to remove the crowd from the spot.

Apart from this, the authorities also called the police from Ratlam’s Jaura town and Dhar district. After the incident, heavy security forces have been deployed around the city. At present, the situation is under control.
