IAS Pooja Khedkar, The troubles of Washim district’s controversial Assistant District Magistrate and IAS-Probationary Officer (PO) Pooja Dilip Khedkar have increased further. A video of her mother has surfaced in which she is allegedly seen trying to force a farmer from Pune to sell land by threatening him with a pistol. This incident took place about two months ago in Mulshi area, but its video has surfaced now. In the video, Pooja’s mother Manorama D. Khedkar can be seen threatening a farmer with a pistol.

Manorama Khedkar was seen having a heated debate with the farmers

Accompanied by a professional team of male bouncers and female security personnel, Manorama Khedkar had a heated argument with the farmers and even pointed a pistol at them. Later, the aggrieved farmers of the area claimed that they were trying to lodge a police complaint about the incident, but their complaint was ignored due to political pressure. Now, they have demanded a thorough investigation into the incident.

According to their property records, the Khedkar family owns more than 25 acres of land in Pune. They tried to increase their land there by forcing neighbouring farmers to sell their land, but most opposed the attempt. After a major controversy erupted in the last few days, IAS (PO) Pooja Khedkar has been transferred from Pune Collectorate to Washim Collectorate as Assistant District Magistrate, where she took charge on July 11.

Following a campaign by RTI activist Vijay Kumbhar, shocking facts have come to light about the assets of the Khedkar family comprising Dilip K. Khedkar, Manorama D. Khedkar and their daughter Pooja D. Khedkar. The Centre and the State have already initiated independent investigations against Pooja D. Khedkar into her various alleged actions as an IAS (PO), documents related to her OBC non-creamy layer certificate, medical records, traffic police data, etc.
