Rampur news: Actress and former MP from Rampur, Uttar Pradesh, Jayaprada has got a big relief. A Rampur court on Thursday acquitted her in a case of violation of the code of conduct. An official has shared this information. This controversy is related to the Lok Sabha elections 2019, in which the actress was in trouble for a long time.

Senior prosecution officer Amarnath Tiwari said that a case was registered against Jayaprada in April 2019 for violating the code of conduct during the Lok Sabha elections. He said that the case was being heard in the local MP-MLA court.

The former MP was acquitted as the charges were not proven

The official said that Judge Shobhit Bansal acquitted the former MP as the charges were not proven. Jayaprada was also present in the court when the verdict was pronounced. Jayaprada contested the 2019 general elections from Rampur on a Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) ticket.
