Rajasthan Budget 2024, Rajasthan’s Finance Minister Diya Kumari presented the state budget in the assembly today. She said that the government has paid special attention to providing tap water in villages in its budget. It is also working on 10 resolutions which will strengthen the economy. Know the important points of the budget
- Finance Minister Diya Kumari said that Rs 15,000 crore will be spent this year to provide tap water to 25 lakh rural houses.
- The Rajasthan government is working on 10 resolves, which include making the state a $350 billion economy and developing quality infrastructure.
- For the first time in Rajasthan, nine green field expressways with a length of more than 2750 km will be constructed.
- A target of four lakh recruitments has been set in Rajasthan in five years.
Bhajan Lal government had presented interim budget in February this year and financial arrangements were made for expenses till 31st July. After the budget is presented today, department wise grant demands will be discussed in the assembly for about 13 days and finally the Finance and Appropriation Bill (Budget) will be passed. Chief Minister Bhajan Lal Sharma will reply in the House on the Finance and Appropriation Bill.
Congress made a strategy to surround
At the same time, in this budget session, Congress has made a strategy to corner the government in the assembly. Leader of Opposition in Rajasthan Tikaram Julie on Tuesday appealed to the Congress MLAs to strongly raise issues related to public interest and the concerns of the marginalized people in the upcoming assembly session. A brainstorming session was held in the Congress Legislature Party meeting on Tuesday to formulate a strategy to corner the BJP government in the assembly session.
