Eligibility Criteria
- Age Limit: Unmarried candidates born between 2 January 2001 and 2 January 2006. Married candidates born between 2 January 2001 and 2 January 2004.

Selection Process
The selection process for Air Force Group Y or medical assistant has four stages:
- Physical Fitness Test (PFT): Candidates have to complete a 1.6 km run, push-ups, sit-ups, and squad in determined times.
- Written Test: Candidates who qualify the physical fitness test have to give a written test based on General awareness, reasoning, and English.
- Adaptability Test: Candidates have to clear the adaptability test of Air Force military service.
- Medical Examination: Candidates have to pass the medical tests including height, chest measurement, and eye vision.
