A 14-year-old Dalit girl was kidnapped and murdered in Muzaffarpur, Bihar. After the murder, the miscreants threw the body in a pond. There are marks of injuries on many places on the girl’s body. After this incident, there was a stir in the area. When the police came to know about it, they investigated and arrested one person on the basis of suspicion. The search for the main accused is on.
According to the agency, this incident is from Paru village of Muzaffarpur. Here some miscreants broke into a house on 11th August. At that time only a 14 year old girl was present in the house. Her parents had gone to work. The miscreants kidnapped the girl and after raping her, killed her and threw the body in the pond. When some people saw the body in the pond, they informed the police. There were marks of injuries on the body.
After receiving the information, Bihar police reached the spot and started investigation by taking the body in their custody. Police said that the first suspect Mithilesh Kumar has been arrested in connection with the incident. He had helped the main suspect Sanjay Rai to escape arrest after the kidnapping and murder of the 14-year-old Dalit girl. Mithilesh is a resident of Paru village.
The police has seized the vehicle in which the main suspect Sanjay Rai fled. Several other unidentified accused including Sanjay Rai have also been made accused in this case. The police has put up a notice outside Sanjay Rai’s house, warning that his property will be confiscated if he does not surrender.
Senior Superintendent of Police Rakesh Kumar said that the initial report did not reveal any sexual assault. However, investigation is underway. The cause of the girl’s death is said to be blows on her head and neck. A towel has been found near the scene of the incident.
