Legislative Assembly By Poll: After the Lok Sabha elections, once again there is going to be a contest between India and NDA. By-elections are to be held on 13 assembly seats in 7 states on July 10. Most of these seats have fallen vacant after the Lok Sabha elections. After many MLAs were elected to the Parliament, it became necessary to hold by-elections on their vacant seats. After this, the Election Commission has announced by-elections on these seats.

According to the Election Commission, voting will be held on July 10 for four seats in Bengal, one in Bihar, one in Tamil Nadu, one in Madhya Pradesh, two in Uttarakhand, one in Punjab and three in Himachal Pradesh. The results of the by-elections on these seats will be declared on July 13. Let us tell you, the notification for the by-election was issued on June 14.

By-elections will be held on these seats

The seats where assembly by-elections are to be held include Rupauli in Bihar, Raiganj, Ranaghat South, Bagdah, Maniktala in West Bengal, Vikravandi in Tamil Nadu, Amarwara in Madhya Pradesh, Badrinath, Mangalore in Uttarakhand, Jalandhar West in Punjab, Dehra, Hamirpur and Nalagarh assembly seat in Himachal Pradesh.

Yogi and Akhilesh will be face to face in UP too

Leaving aside these 13 assembly seats of 7 states, by-elections are also to be held in Uttar Pradesh. After the Lok Sabha elections, 9 assembly seats here have become vacant. However, the Election Commission has not yet announced the date of voting. The seats in Uttar Pradesh where by-elections are to be held include Karhal, Milkipur, Katehari, Kundarki, Ghaziabad, Khair Mirapur, Phulpur, Majhava and Sisamau seats. In Uttar Pradesh, Congress and SP have decided to contest the elections together on these 9 seats. At the same time, NDA has also started its preparations. Now it remains to be seen who wins the upcoming by-elections between Uttar Pradesh CM Yogi Adityanath and Akhilesh Yadav’s SP.
