The last hope of AAP-CONG alliance in Delhi-Haryana is also broken, Jairam Ramesh said- ‘There is no scope’

Congress vs AAP

congress aap alliance, Congress General Secretary Jairam Ramesh said on Thursday that there is no scope for an alliance with the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) in the assembly elections of Delhi and Haryana. However, the Indian National Developmental Inclusive Alliance (INA) will remain in the assembly elections of Maharashtra and Jharkhand. Ramesh said that this alliance will continue in those states where the leaders of Congress and allies want.

Both Congress and Aam Aadmi Party are the components of India Alliance. In the Lok Sabha elections, both the parties had contested together in Delhi and Haryana, but in Punjab, both had contested separately. Assembly elections are to be held in Maharashtra, Jharkhand, Haryana in October-November this year. Assembly elections are proposed in Delhi early next year.

No alliance with Aam Aadmi Party

When asked whether the India alliance will continue in the upcoming assembly elections, Jairam Ramesh said, it will continue for the Jharkhand assembly elections. It will continue for the Maharashtra assembly elections. There is no India Janbandhan in Punjab. In Haryana (in the Lok Sabha elections), one seat was given to the Aam Aadmi Party, I do not think that India Janbandhan will continue there (in the assembly elections). He said that in Delhi, a statement has come from the Aam Aadmi Party that there will be no India Janbandhan for the assembly elections.

There is no scope in Haryana-Delhi

Ramesh said, I had said in the context of West Bengal that India Janbandhan is for the Lok Sabha elections. In the states where our leaders and leaders of other parties want an alliance, there will be an alliance. He also said that there is an alliance with Shiv Sena (UBT) and Nationalist Congress Party (NSP) in Maharashtra and with Jharkhand Mukti Morcha (JMM) in Jharkhand. When asked whether there will be an alliance between Congress and Aam Aadmi Party in Delhi and Haryana, Ramesh said, there is no scope.
