DC Water has issued a Boil Water Advisory for all customers in the District of Columbia, as well as the following areas in Arlington, Virginia:
- The Pentagon
- Arlington National Cemetery
- Reagan National Airport
This precautionary advisory was issued due to a drop in water supply from the Washington Aqueduct, which provides drinking water to these regions. The water may have increased turbidity, which can interfere with disinfection and allow for microbial growth.
