The Oppo F27 Pro+ has been launched in India, marking a significant milestone in the country’s smartphone market. This latest offering from Oppo boasts an impressive array of features, including an IP69 rating, making it the first smartphone in India to achieve this level of protection against water and dust.
Launch Date and Availability
The Oppo F27 Pro+ was launched in India on June 13, 2024, and is now available for pre-order on Oppo’s official website, Amazon India, Flipkart, and select retail stores. The open sale will begin on June 20, 2024.
Price and Variants
The Oppo F27 Pro+ is priced at Rs 27,999 for the 8GB RAM + 128GB storage variant and Rs 29,999 for the 8GB RAM + 256GB storage variant.
Specifications and Features
The Oppo F27 Pro+ features a 6.7-inch fullHD 3D curved AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate and 950nits peak brightness, protected by Corning Gorilla Glass Victus 2. It is powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 7050 processor, paired with 8GB of RAM and up to 256GB of UFS 3.1 storage.
The smartphone boasts a dual rear camera setup, consisting of a 64MP primary sensor and a 2MP depth sensor. The front camera is an 8MP sensor. The device also features a 5,000mAh battery that supports 67W wired fast charging.
Durability and Protection
The Oppo F27 Pro+ is designed with durability in mind, featuring an internally dampened body, an aluminium alloy-protected motherboard, and a screen with Corning Gorilla Glass Victus 2. This robust construction has earned the device a Swiss SGS five-star rating for drop resistance and a US military standard certification (MIL-STD-810H method 516.8) for its build quality.
The smartphone also features waterproof components, including the microphone, speaker openings, SIM card slot pinhole, and USB port. These protective measures have earned the Oppo F27 Pro+ three ingress protection (IP) certifications: IP66 for dust and regular water jets, IP68 for dust and water immersion up to 1.5 meters for 30 minutes, and IP69 for dust and high-pressure water jets at temperatures up to 80 degrees Celsius.
