There was a stir in the area after the bodies of a brother and sister were found in a house in Bhopal, the capital of Madhya Pradesh. Police said that a 45-year-old man, saddened by the death of his mother, killed his elder disabled sister before hanging himself in the house on Saturday.
According to the news agency report, Kolar police station in-charge Ashutosh Upadhyay said, ‘In a suicide note written by Pankaj Malviya before dying, it is stated that he no longer wants to live without his mother.’
Malviya’s body was found hanging from the ceiling of his house on Kolar Road, while his sister Sunita (53) was found dead in the kitchen with a noose around her neck, he said, adding that the bodies were seen by their father.

The police officer said, ‘Pankaj went into depression after the death of his mother last month. He killed his sister Sunita before committing suicide. The deceased was a divorcee and lived with his sister and father in their flat. Police have registered a case and investigation is underway, Upadhyay said.
