In Nagaur, Rajasthan, a young man committed suicide after being hurt by the breaking of his marriage. On receiving the information, the police took the body in their custody and sent it for postmortem. It is being told that the young man was very much in love with the girl, but after the engagement, the girl’s family refused the marriage. The police say that further action will be taken on the complaint of the deceased’s family.

The matter is of Thambolai Nadi situated in Kotwali police station area. According to the information, the engagement of Babulal Lohar’s 21-year-old son Mukesh, a resident of Nagaur city, was fixed. There was an altercation between the girl’s family and the boy’s family over some issue. Due to this, the girl’s family refused the marriage. Mukesh was upset about this for three-four days.

Then Mukesh ended his life on Saturday by hanging himself from a tree near the Thambolai river in Nagaur city. Seeing the body hanging from the tree, people informed the family of the deceased about the incident. The family rushed to the spot and informed the police about the incident. The family is inconsolable and is crying.

Police said this in the case

ASI Khetaram said that we received information through phone at around 3 pm that a young man is hanging from a tree near Thambolai Nadi on Deh Road in Nagaur. A bike is also parked nearby. As soon as we got the information, we reached the spot and brought down the hanging body. The body has been kept in the mortuary of Kotwali police station. Investigation has revealed that the young man was engaged to the girl and the boy loved the girl very much. But the girl’s family refused to keep the engagement. Angered by this, he has taken this step. Further action will be taken on the report of the family.
