A senior official said that multi-layered security has been put in place by installing several CCTV cameras around the Israeli Embassy and Chabad Hotel. If required, more policemen can be deployed. Officials said that apart from this, anti-Israel activities in India are also being monitored.

There was a bomb threat recently

Let us tell you, Delhi Police on Thursday issued a clarification after a rumor of ‘explosion’ in a post on social media platform ‘X’. Police said that it was a fake alert. Later the post was also removed. In the last three years, there have been two explosions near the Israeli Embassy in the national capital, although these explosions were not very loud. No one was injured in both the attacks. Security has already been increased around the Israeli Embassy after the war broke out between Israel and Hamas last year.
