Manu had made a record in these two events
Earlier, after winning the bronze medal in the individual 10 meter air pistol, Manu Bhaker along with Sarabjot Singh also won the bronze medal in the mixed team category. She became the first Indian to win two medals in the same Olympics. Which is a record in itself.

Before Manu, only Norman Pritchard did this
Before Manu Bhaker, British-born Indian athlete Norman Pritchard had won silver medals in 200m sprint and 200m hurdles in the 1900 Olympics, but that achievement was before independence.

3 medals have come in shooting
If we look at it, this is the first time that an Indian shooter has won a medal in the 50 meter rifle three position event of the Olympics. This is India’s third medal in the current Olympic Games. Before this, India’s last two medals also came in shooting. This means that for the first time India has won three medals in shooting in an Olympic season.
