Amid rising tensions in the Middle East, the US has decided to deploy additional fighter jets and naval warships in the Middle East. The US has said that it wants to strengthen security in view of the threats from Iran and its allies Hamas and Hezbollah. The US fears that Iran may attack to avenge the killing of Hamas leader Ismail Haniya in Tehran.
US Defense Secretary Lloyd Austin has approved sending additional Navy cruisers and destroyers to the Middle East and Europe that can shoot down ballistic missiles. The US is also sending an additional squadron of fighter jets to the Middle East.

“Austin ordered adjustments to US military contingents aimed at strengthening the security of US forces, enhancing cooperation with Israel’s defence ministry, and ensuring that the US is fully prepared to respond to any eventuality,” the US Defence Department, Pentagon, said in a statement.
There was speculation that the Pentagon would not deploy any other warship in place of its ‘USS Theodore Roosevelt Carrier Strike Group’ in the Middle East, but Austin put an end to the speculation and decided to deploy ‘USS Abraham Lincoln Carrier Strike Group’ (warship) in its place. The Pentagon statement said that this will strengthen the land based ballistic missile defense system.
America has been continuously helping Israel
Earlier, the US military had also deployed it on April 13 when Iran attacked Israeli territory with drones and missiles. At that time, Israel successfully shot down about 300 drones and missiles with the help of the US and other allies. The White House said Biden discussed new US defensive military deployments to help Israel against threats like missiles and drones in a phone call with Netanyahu on Thursday.
Earlier, while talking to the media, US Defense Secretary Lloyd Austin said that if Israel is attacked, America will help it. When Austin was asked whether Israel had a hand in the murder of Haniya and whether America had any information? On this, Austin said that he has no information. At the same time, both Iran and Hamas have accused Israel of murder and have vowed to retaliate against their enemy. Israel has neither taken responsibility for the murder of Ismail Haniya nor has it denied it.
Haniya was murdered in Iran

Hamas said that on Wednesday morning the house in Tehran where Haniya was living was blown up and he died during this. Hamas has blamed Israel for this. Hamas leader Musa Abu Marzouk said that Haniya’s death will not go in vain.
