There has been a controversy over the construction of a temporary gate near Gyanvapi by the administration in the Kashi Vishwanath complex. The Muslim community protested calling it a part of a conspiracy. Mufti Maulana Abdul staged a protest regarding this, after which the administration gave a written assurance and promised to remove the controversial gate.
