Let us tell you that earlier on July 29, the Indian Embassy in Lebanon had issued an advisory for Indian citizens in the country when cross-border violence broke out between Israeli troops and Hezbollah. According to a Reuters report, the conflict escalated on July 27 when a rocket attack was carried out by the Lebanese terrorist group on an Israeli football field, killing at least 12 children and teenagers.
The war between Israel and Hezbollah intensifies
Significantly, tensions in the Middle East are still high amid conflict between various groups including Israel and Hamas. Cross-border violence has flared up between Israeli troops and Hezbollah since October 8 last year. The recent rocket attack was the deadliest attack on an Israeli target on the country’s northern border since the fighting between Israel and Hezbollah began. The attack has raised fears of a wider regional war.
