flute swara, BJP leader and member of Lok Sabha from New Delhi, Bansuri Swaraj, attacked Leader of Opposition Rahul Gandhi in Lok Sabha (Rahul Gandhi)’s speech was termed as misleading to the House. Talking to reporters, Bansuri said that Rahul Gandhi’s statement on the martyrdom of Agniveer that there is no provision for compensation is completely wrong. On martyrdom, financial assistance of Rs 1 crore is provided to the family of Agniveer. The new government has also increased the MSP of crops for farmers.

What did Bansuri Swaraj say?

The MP said that on June 19, MSP was announced for 14 Kharif crops. It includes crops like paddy, ragi, jowar, cotton. The MSP of hybrid jowar was increased by 104 percent. Now it has become Rs 3371 per quintal instead of Rs 1500 per quintal. Similarly, there was an increase of 124 percent in Desi Jowar, 110 percent in millet, 186 percent in ragi and 270 percent in sesame. Bansuri also objected to calling farmers terrorists. He said that no member of BJP ever called farmers terrorists.

‘Kejriwal government is anti-women’

Along with this, the BJP leader called the Kejriwal government anti-women. Bansuri said that the anti-women and anti-Dalit face of the Kejriwal government has come to the fore. It is very shameful that till now the Kejriwal government has not appointed any chairperson in the DCW. Despite the legal obligation, they did not even appoint a Dalit member. Due to the negligence of the government, the women helpline also closed down.
