Wife murdered for Wi-Fi password, husband had asked for password when mobile data was over

In Rohtak, Haryana, a husband killed his wife by attacking her with a sharp weapon when she refused to share the Wi-Fi. This incident created a stir in the area. At present, the police reached the spot after getting the information and arrested the accused husband. After presenting him in the court, he was sent to jail. The entire incident is said to be of 30th July.

Attacked in anger for not turning on the hot spot

Giving information about the incident, SI Jai Bhagwan of Bahu Akbarpur police station said that a case of murder of wife by husband for not switching on the hotspot has come to light in Rohtak’s Madina village. Investigation has revealed that the accused husband had committed the crime in a fit of rage.

Ajay Kumar was using his mobile phone at home on July 30. During this time, his mobile’s internet connection was cut off, after which he asked his wife Rekha to turn on the mobile hotspot. However, during this time his wife was picking up animal dung. So she said that she was busy and would turn on the hotspot after removing the dung after some time. Hearing this answer from his wife, husband Ajay got angry and attacked his wife Rekha with a sharp weapon.

After the murder, the accused was hiding in the village itself

In this attack, the wife was badly injured and died on the spot. The accused husband fled after committing the crime. After which Rekha’s family informed the police. When the investigation began, it was found that Rekha was murdered with a sharp weapon. After which the police conducted a raid and arrested the accused husband from Madina village itself.
