A sensational case has come to light from Sambhal district of Uttar Pradesh, where a ninth class student who had gone to buy momos was kidnapped by miscreants, who then demanded a ransom of Rs 2 lakh from his family in exchange for releasing him. The family was terrified by the kidnapping of their son. In such a situation, they paid the ransom amount to the kidnappers without informing the police and rescued their son safely from their clutches. Let us know the whole story.

Actually, 14-year-old Harshit, a resident of Begumsarai in Sadar Kotwali area, left home on Wednesday evening saying that he was going to get momos. But when Harshit did not return for a long time, the family got worried. They started looking for Harshit. But till late night, there was no trace of Harshit.

Meanwhile, a photo and a message came on the mobile of Harshit’s family. In the photo, Harshit’s mouth was tied with a cloth and it was written that if you want the child, then arrange for two lakh rupees by morning. If the child’s life is not dear to you, then inform the police, I will tell you the rest tomorrow morning.

Harshit’s family was shocked after reading the message sent by the kidnapper. After which on Wednesday night itself, Harshit’s father Om Prakash Saini started collecting the ransom money. Before daybreak, he prepared a ransom bag of Rs 1.5 lakh and started waiting for the next message from the kidnapper. He expressed his inability to collect two lakhs from the kidnapper.

On Thursday morning at 5 am, the family received another message from the kidnapper in which he wrote that put the money in front of the canteen of Fountain Park. I will be around here. Your child will be found after 30 minutes. After which Harshit’s family without informing the police reached the place mentioned by the kidnapper with a bag full of ransom and kept the bag there and started waiting for the next step.

After some time, the family again received a message that their child will be found at 7 in the morning. After this, the family of the student went ahead on the way where the ransom bag was dropped and the kidnapped student Harshit was found by the family near Bhavanipur bridge.

As soon as the child was found, the family immediately reached Sambhal Sadar police station and gave full information about the incident to the police. Hearing this, the police were stunned. Immediately, Kotwali in-charge Anuj Tomar along with the police team reached the spot of the incident on Moradabad Road with the child and his family. Currently, a team of the Crime Branch has been deployed in the case. The police is investigating.
