Parliament session, There was a lot of uproar in the Lok Sabha on Thursday over the increasing rail accidents in the country. When Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnav stood up to answer the questions of opposition MPs, the opposition leaders started creating a ruckus. Ashwini Vaishnav got angry after being repeatedly called a reel minister.
Slogans of Ashwini Vaishnav Hai Hai were raised
When Ashwini Vaishnav stood up to speak in the House, the opposition MPs started shouting slogans of “Ashwini Vaishnav Hai Hai”. After this he lost his temper and reprimanded the opposition MPs in Parliament.
Opposition MPs reprimanded
The Union Minister said, “People are shouting here, they should be asked why they could not install Automatic Train Protection (ATP) even one kilometre away in 58 years of being in power. Today, they dare to raise questions. When Mamata Banerjee was the Railway Minister, she used to tell the number of accidents. When it came down from 0.24 per cent to 0.19 per cent, these people used to clap in the House and today when it has come down from 0.19 per cent to 0.03 per cent, they make such allegations. Will this country run like this?”
‘Congress spreads false stories’
He further said, “Everyone has to come together for the improvement of railways. As a part of a strategy, SP and Congress shared the picture of the wall of the old railway station of Ayodhya and said that the new railway station is damaged, which turned out to be false. With the help of its troll army of social media, Congress spreads false things. Are they trying to create fear in the hearts of those 2 crore people who travel by railways every day. We are not the people who make reels, we work hard, people like you make reels only and only for publicity, for show off.”
