Complaining about being typecast, Farida Jalal said in a conversation with Times of India- I kept waiting for a challenging role to be offered because I wanted to showcase my talent. I wanted to show my versatility. Every time I was offered the role of a mother or a grandmother. I am angry with the makers because they did not see any talent in me beyond these roles. Nor did they consider me capable of this.
