The Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued a heavy rain alert in Haryana, Delhi, Himachal Pradesh, Punjab, Uttarakhand, Maharashtra, Chhattisgarh, Madhya Pradesh, Karnataka, Kerala, Uttar Pradesh, Goa and Gujarat today, August 1.

Intermittent rain continues in the country’s capital Delhi. The Meteorological Department has issued an alert of heavy rain in Delhi till August 2. Due to heavy rain in the past day, people have faced problems due to heavy waterlogging in many areas of Delhi-NCR. According to IMD, the maximum temperature of Delhi can remain between 33 to 35 degree Celsius this whole week and the minimum temperature is likely to be around 26 to 27 degree Celsius.

According to weather forecast agency Skymet, during the next 24 hours, moderate to heavy rain is possible in some parts of Punjab, Haryana, Western Uttar Pradesh, North Eastern Rajasthan and Delhi NCR. At the same time, light to moderate rain with heavy rain may occur in Himachal Pradesh, Uttarakhand, Karnataka, Madhya Pradesh, Vidarbha, Chhattisgarh and Odisha.
