RJD will surround on the issue of reservation

After the caste-based census in Bihar, the government had increased the reservation limit. On the basis of the data obtained from the caste census, the Mahagathbandhan government had increased the reservation limit for scheduled castes from 16 to 20 percent, for scheduled tribes from 1 to 2 percent, for extremely backward castes from 18 to 25 percent and for other backward classes from 15 to 18 percent. In this way, the total limit of caste-based reservation increased from 50 to 65 percent. Separately, 10 percent reservation was given for the economically weaker section of the general category. After this, the matter reached the court and the Patna High Court put a stay on it. The Bihar government approached the Supreme Court against the decision of the Patna High Court.

Demand for special station for Bihar

At the same time, the central government has clearly refused to grant special state status to Bihar. However, by making a provision of a large amount in the Union Budget for Bihar, the central government has reduced the impact of this demand to a great extent, but this issue is still alive. It is believed that Tejashwi will also raise this issue during his tour.
