A woman was killed by hitting her with a brick in Unnao. The reason for the murder is said to be money dealings. After committing the murder, the accused surrendered himself at the police station. The police was stunned when the accused confessed to the crime at the police station. The police took him into custody and is investigating the case by sending the body for post-mortem.
The murder incident is from Pesari village of Asiwan police station area. Here 55 year old Vimla Devi wife of late Umashankar of the village had an old dispute with 58 year old Haribhan of the same neighbourhood regarding money transaction. Haribhan asked Vimla for the money he had lent her on Wednesday morning. During this, an argument started between the two. When the dispute escalated, there was a fierce fight between both the parties.
During this time, Haribhan hit Vimala on the head with a brick. Due to this, she died on the spot. There was a stir in the village after the incident. When the accused reached the police station and told the police about the incident, the police was stunned. The police immediately took the accused into custody. The police reached the spot along with the forensic team and started investigating the case.

It is being told that deceased woman Vimala’s husband Umashankar had died 15 years ago. She was living with her son and daughter-in-law. During this time, she became close to Haribhan, a resident of the same village, and both of them started talking to each other a lot. Meanwhile, money transactions also took place. Additional Superintendent of Police (South) Premchand said that Vimala Devi has been murdered in Khesari village of Asiwan police station area.
