Rahul Gandhi speech: A statement by opposition leader Rahul Gandhi in the Lok Sabha has created a ruckus. Actually Rahul Gandhi said that all our great men have talked about non-violence and ending fear, on the other hand those who call themselves Hindus only talk about violence, hatred, untruth… you are not Hindus at all… Due to this the ruling party got angry and started demanding an apology.
What did Rahul Gandhi say about Hinduism
Rahul Gandhi said- “Modi ji said in his speech one day that India has not attacked anyone, the reason for this is that this country is a country of non-violence. This country is not a country of fear. All our great men have talked about non-violence. They talked about eradicating fear. Don’t be afraid, don’t scare others. Lord Shiva says- don’t be afraid, don’t scare others and buries his trident in the ground. And those who call themselves Hindus, they keep on saying violence-violence, hatred-hate-hate, untruth-untruth-untruth 24 hours a day. You are not a Hindu at all. It is clearly written in Hindu religion that one should stand with the truth. One should not step back from the truth. One should not be afraid of the truth. Non-violence is our symbol.”
BJP became aggressive
Linking this statement of Rahul Gandhi to the entire Hindu community, BJP demanded an apology. Prime Minister Modi objected to this and said that calling the entire Hindu community violent is a very serious matter. At the same time, Amit Shah said that Rahul Gandhi should apologize for his statements calling all Hindus violent. Crores of people are proud to be Hindus, does Rahul Gandhi think that all of them are violent. Union Home Minister Amit Shah said in the Lok Sabha – “The Leader of the Opposition has clearly said that those who call themselves Hindus talk about violence and commit violence. He does not know that crores of people proudly call themselves Hindus. Linking violence to any religion is wrong. He should apologize.”
After this, Rahul Gandhi did not stop here, after Prime Minister Modi objected to his comment, Rahul Gandhi said – “Modi, BJP, RSS are not the entire Hindu community.”
