A strange incident came to light in Mahisagar district of Gujarat. A man was given treatment for a human bite at thegeneral health centre in Virpur, Mahisagar. On the case paper of the general health centre in Virpur, in the symptom column of the disease, it was written ‘bairu kardue’. This word written in Gujarati means wife bitten, according to which the husband was treated by the general health centre.
Taluka Primary Health Officer, refusing to speak on camera, said that a case was reported in the community health centre of Veerpur yesterday.

Though the doctors at the community health centre and the patient who was undergoing treatment refused to comment on the matter, the case paper is currently making headlines in Gujarat.

This case paper has also become a topic of discussion because Dr. Bairu Kardue i.e. BV could have used the word human bite instead of bite.
