An FIR has been filed against a Congress MLA from Gwalior in Madhya Pradesh for beating up some women. It is alleged that the MLA beat up some women. These women had come to meet the MLA at his house to solve the problem of a faulty electricity transformer. Gwalior Rural MLA Sahab Singh Gurjar has denied the allegations and alleged that there is a political conspiracy in this.
Gwalior Superintendent of Police Dharamvir Singh said that on the complaint of a woman, an FIR has been registered against the MLA under sections 115 (2) and 296 of the Indian Penal Code. He said that further action will be taken after investigation.
Speaking to reporters, the complainant alleged that she and other women from Mau village had reached the MLA’s house on Monday morning to resolve the issue of a faulty transformer.

The woman claimed that instead of helping, MLA Sahab Singh Gurjar beat us and dragged me and other women by the hair. However, the MLA claimed that after meeting the villagers, he immediately spoke to the concerned officials and instructed them to solve the problem.
The MLA alleged that the villagers started shouting slogans outside his house and tried to attack his personal security officer (PSO) before he went to the police station. The MLA said, “I did not say anything indecent. This seems to be a political conspiracy.”
