A Bollywood film has been made on the ‘Lady Supercop’ whose house tank was filled by the fire brigade

A video of Uttarakhand’s capital Dehradun is going viral on social media. In the viral video, a fire brigade vehicle is seen supplying water to the bungalow of a female IPS officer. Now questions are being raised that how can a fire brigade vehicle supply water to an officer’s house?

It is being claimed that the house where the fire brigade vehicle arrived to fill the tank belongs to IPS officer Archana Tyagi. Lady super cop Archana Tyagi is a police officer of Maharashtra cadre. Her parents live in the house located on EC Road i.e. East Canal Road in Dehradun.

Let us tell you that IPS Archana Tyagi is known as a lady super cop. She is counted among the sharp officers. The 2014 Bollywood film ‘Mardaani’ was based on Archana. In that film, actress Rani Mukherjee played the role of a police officer based on Archana Tyagi.

Archana Tyagi is originally from Dehradun. Archana, a multi-talented person, started teaching at PG-DAV College in Dehradun at the age of just 21. She also continued preparing for the Union Public Service Commission (UPSC). She was selected for the Indian Police Service (IPS) and got Maharashtra cadre. Her first posting was as Assistant Superintendent of Police (ASP) in the Karad area, which is considered sensitive. Archana Tyagi of the 1993 batch is currently working as Additional Director General of Police in Maharashtra.

It is being told that this video is from about one and a half months ago when someone made a video of the fire brigade vehicle supplying water parked outside his house on East Canal Road and uploaded it on social media. However, Aajtak does not confirm this video. In the viral video, some women and men are surprised and asking whether the fire brigade also comes to fill water in the water tank? Another person is heard saying that we are getting the water tanks of the house filled, what will happen if there is a fire? Watch Video:-

However, in relation to this video, the Dehradun Police issued a press release stating that the fire brigade was sent there after receiving information about gas leakage from an LPG cylinder. According to the release, taking cognizance of the video circulated on social media, Dehradun Senior Superintendent of Police Ajay Singh sought information about the above incident from the Dehradun Fire Officer and it was found that on June 15, a team along with a fire brigade vehicle was sent there after receiving information about gas leakage from the cylinder.

The fire brigade team reduced the leakage by pouring water on the LPG cylinder kept in the cabin inside the kitchen of the house and by taking immediate action, any major accident was prevented from happening. It is also told in the release that two elderly persons live in the house.
