After Manu Bhaker won the bronze medal again, her mother had a special conversation with Aaj Tak. Manu’s mother had reached the Karni Singh Shooting Range, where Manu often practices. Manu’s mother Sumedha said that it is the love of students, players and their parents towards Manu that today hundreds of people have gathered at the Karni Singh Shooting Range to celebrate her success. She said that this is Manu’s first home because she comes home only to sleep.
She said that she spends her whole day practising here. Mother Sumedha said that Manu has worked hard for eight and a half years to achieve this position, but this hard work would not have been possible without her coach Jaspal Rana. The pair of coach Jaspal Rana and Manu Bhaker has done this amazing feat. When asked what changed between Tokyo Olympics and Paris Olympics, she said that Jaspal sir was not there in Tokyo Olympics but now that he is with us, everything is fine.
On the other hand, Manu Bhaker’s father told Aaj Tak that, ‘He has not watched any of Manu’s matches since the beginning because the heart beat fluctuates in it. In fact, no member of the family watches Manu’s matches. In response to a question, he said that reaching the Olympics is a big deal and winning a medal there is a big achievement. Manu has won two medals. After this, the hope for the third event has increased further.

Manu’s father Ramkishan Bhakar said that he has not spoken to Manu since morning. He will speak to her at 9:00 pm when her coach will be with her and she will call us from the coach’s phone. When asked what he expects from Manu’s third event, he said that God has given us a lot and we thank him. When asked if he will be known as Manu’s father in the society after these two medals, he said that everyone knows me as Manu’s father because she has won many medals before this as well.
When asked if the craze for shooting will increase in the country after the achievements of Jaspal Rana, Abhinav Bindra and now Manu Bhaker, he said that the craze has already increased a lot, because till now there are more than 20000 shooters in Haryana itself.
