Maserati, the Italian luxury car company that recently started its journey in the Indian market, has officially launched its new SUV Grecale for sale in the Indian market. The starting price of this SUV, which comes in three different variants, has been fixed at Rs 1.31 crore (ex-showroom). In the market, it competes with Porsche’s famous car Macan, whose price starts at Rs 96.05 lakh. Equipped with attractive looks and powerful engine, this car has been given many great features. Talking about the exterior, the Grecale has the company’s special signature style statement grille. In which chrome-finish and a large size bumper give it a better look. It has a Maserati logo on the front, which is completed by twin dual-exhaust tips and an LED headlight setup. It is connected to integrated daytime running lights (DRL’s). The company has given 19-inch alloy wheels in it.

In the base variant GT of Maserati Grecale, the company has given a 2.0 liter capacity 4 cylinder turbo petrol engine. This engine generates a powerful power of 300hp. This engine is mated to an 8-speed automatic transmission gearbox. The company claims that this SUV is capable of accelerating from 0 to 100 km/h in just 5.6 seconds. Its top speed is 240 km/h.
In its mid variant Gracale Modena, the company has given a 2.0 liter engine which generates 330hp of power. This car takes just 5.3 seconds to reach a speed of 0 to 100 km/h. Apart from this, other specifications are the same as the base model GT. However, it has been given limited slip differential and adaptive suspension. In this variant, the company has given 20-inch wheels which come with black highlights instead of chrome.
The engine of the top variant Grecale Trofeo is the most powerful. In this variant, the company has given a 3.0 liter V6 turbo-petrol engine. Which generates a powerful power of 530hp. The company claims that this variant is capable of catching the speed of 0 to 100 km/h in just 3.8 seconds. Electronic Limited Slip Diff is being given as standard in this variant. Apart from this, this top variant has a 21-inch alloy wheel which comes with red highlight on the brake calipers.
How is the cabin:
Every effort has been made to make the cabin of Maserati Grecale premium and luxurious. It gets 10-way powered front seats which come with memory function. A 12-inch dual screen has been provided. In which one will be used for the infotainment system and the other as a digital instrument cluster. Head-up-display (HUD), dual zone climate control and 14 speakers make it even better. Aluminum paddle shifters have also been included in it. In terms of safety, this SUV gets a Level-1 Advanced Driving Assistance System (ADAS) suite.
The company says that pre-configured cars are already available for buyers. But if buyers want to customize this car according to their needs, then this facility is also available. But buyers will have to wait for about 5 to 8 months for the delivery of the customized model. This delivery time depends on the customization request level.
