‘This government wants to create a record of rail accidents’, Akhilesh Yadav said on Jharkhand train accident

18 coaches of Howrah-Mumbai Express train derailed in Jharkhand. Two passengers died in this accident, while more than 20 passengers are injured. On this incident, Samajwadi Party’s national president Akhilesh Yadav has said that this government wants to make a record on rail accidents just like paper leak.

The SP chief, while talking to a news agency, said, “This government wants to make a record on rail accidents… The government made a record in paper leak and now rail accidents…. The government only makes big claims. People are losing their lives. The government should do something to prevent such accidents in the future.”

At the same time, Congress leader and Rajya Sabha MP Pramod Tiwari said regarding this accident that Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnav should take moral responsibility and resign.

What did the Shiv Sena (UBT) leader say?

Regarding the Jharkhand train accident, Shiv Sena (UBT) leader and Rajya Sabha MP Priyanka Chaturvedi said, “It is very shameful that such train derailment accidents are happening. No action is taken on rail accidents. The Railway Minister is busy in publicity. Unfortunately, the Railway Minister has no accountability. He is not allowing any discussion in Parliament. He has not provided any facilities to the public.”

18 coaches of the train derailed

Let us tell you that 18 coaches of Howrah-Mumbai Mail derailed near Barabambo railway station of Chakradharpur railway division of Jharkhand. Two passengers lost their lives in this, while more than 20 people are injured. Railway employees are rescuing the injured in this incident. So far, about 80 percent of the passengers have been taken from the accident site to Chakradharpur railway station.

The train was going from Howrah to Mumbai

A railway official said that 18 coaches of train number 12810 Howrah-CSMT Express were reported to have derailed near Chakradharpur between Rajkharsawan West Out and Barabambo of Chakradharpur Division at around 3:45 am. Two passengers have died in the accident. Rescue operations are still on. A team of NDRF is carrying out rescue operations on the spot.

CM Hemant Soren gave instructions

Taking cognizance of this incident, Chief Minister Hemant Soren has directed the District Magistrates of Singhbhum and Saraikela-Kharsawan to immediately arrange for the treatment of the injured. He has also instructed to make arrangements to provide all the necessary help to the people present on the spot and inform them.
