Manipur Landslide Kills Mother and Son: A mother and her innocent son were killed while the father was seriously injured in a landslide following heavy rains in Dimthanlong village of Tamenglong, Manipur. A landslide hit the house of a police constable of Tamenglong, the house of Police Constable Ringsinlung Kahmei of Tamenglong Headquarters came under the grip of the landslide.

His wife Duanjanga Kamei and their son Suaihiyamgan Kamei died at midnight when their house was buried under a landslide.

Ringsinlung Kahmei, originally from Tamenglong village, is in critical condition. He has been taken to Imphal for treatment. The incident took place on Monday night, when a landslide occurred due to heavy rains.
