Mumbai’s Sufi singer Samarjit Singh Randhawa had to pay a heavy price for filling diesel in his vehicle in Madhya Pradesh. The Sufi singer, who became a victim of adulteration, has lodged an FIR against the petrol pump operator at Binaganj police station (Guna district).
Samarjit Singh Randhawa is a resident of Kanpur in Uttar Pradesh. Samarjit Singh Randhawa, famous as a Sufi and Punjabi singer, had left with his daughter to go from Mumbai to Kanpur. Meanwhile, when his car was filled with diesel from Radhakrishna Filling Station Pump located in Guna district of Madhya Pradesh, his car developed a problem. It is alleged that the employees on duty at the petrol pump were drunk.
According to Samarjeet, she and her daughter got worried as soon as the vehicle got jammed in a deserted area. When they contacted the car agency and asked about the vehicle getting jammed, the engineer said that there was water in the vehicle instead of diesel.

The singer said that first of all he took shelter in a safe place at night and then called the police. When the police arrived for help, they returned to the petrol pump and asked the employees to take out diesel from the vehicle and check it.
When diesel was taken out from the tank, it contained water. This was reported to the pump owner Santosh Meena. Three hours later, Meena came to his pump and apologized saying that rainwater must have entered the diesel tank. But after some time, Santosh Meena fled from the spot.
Samarjit Randhawa said that when she reached Chanchauda police station in the morning, some people there pressured her to reach a compromise. Petrol pump manager Deepak said that he would bear the entire cost once the vehicle was repaired, but later he started refusing.
Famous Sufi singer Samarjit Singh complained against the petrol pump owner Santosh Meena and the staff. After which an FIR was registered. Samarjit told that he had filled diesel in his vehicle at Radhakrishna Petrol Pump located at Khatkiya on NH-46. But the pump staff poured some water like diesel in the vehicle’s tank along with diesel.
As soon as the vehicle was started after filling diesel, it stopped after travelling just 500 metres. When a complaint was made about this, the petrol pump owner initially agreed to repair the problem, but later refused.
The victim Sufi singer somehow reached Guna from Khatkiya with her vehicle. After facing mental torture for 20 hours, the vehicle was repaired with great difficulty. In this case, sealing action has been taken against Radhakrishna Filling Station after a complaint. The Food Supply Department has taken action on the orders of the Collector.
